The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately 1.25” wide by 1.25” long (2” from the top of the ear hook). These acrylic earrings are a clear base with different shades of blue polka dots, cut into an intricate snowflake pattern. They are very lightweight and festive for the winter season!
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
