The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately 2.5 inches long from the top of the hook to bottom of the acrylic. The acrylic portions are about 1.75 inches long total. The shoes are a medium, glossy pink and the bows are a light, glossy pink. (Please note color in pictures may vary due to screen configurations.)
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
