The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately 2 inches long from the top of the hook to bottom of the acrylic and just under 1” wide. The acrylic portion is about 1.5 inches long and features a scalloped edge at the bottom. Each piece will vary in pattern. Examples of this can be seen in the different pictures.
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
