The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings are handmade and unique to each piece. Available in as a gnome deer, gnome elf, or nutcracker. They measure approximately 0.6" wide by 1" tall (1.75" long from the top of the ear wire).
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
