The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately 2 inches long from the top of the hook to bottom of the acrylic. The acrylic portion is about 1.5" long by 1" wide. It features various "groovy" Halloween images such as ghosts, peace signs, and flowers, on clear acrylic. Due to the nature of the acrylic pattern, each piece will vary slightly from the picture.
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
