The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These dangle earrings feature a medium color wood grain with etched "He is Risen!" They are lightweight and plastic posts, so they won't irritate your ears. They measure about 2" from top of the hook to bottom of the wood.
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
