And the hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately 0.75” wide by 1.25” tall (2” from the top of the ear hook). The hippo portion is a muted purple color with engraved features and a sparkly, striped red hat. They are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable!
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
