The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately 1.25” wide by 1.25” long (2” from the top of the ear hook). These acrylic earrings are an iridescent white to blue to light orange and is slightly translucent. They are very lightweight!
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
