The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately .75” wide by 1.25” tall (2” from the top of the ear hook). The globe part is a clear acrylic with blue and gray snowflakes while the bottom portion is a faux wood print. They are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable and would make a great addition to lots of winter outfits!
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
