The hooks on our plastic post earrings are just that: plastic and therefore won't cause irritation to those with sensitivities to metals. These earrings measure approximately 0.75” wide by 1.5” long (2.25” from the top of the ear hook). The top portion is a sparkly gold and the bottom is green, red and gold large chunk glitter. They’re very lightweight and comfortable for all day wear.
Disclaimer: Our dangle earrings do use metal rings to connect the ear hook to the pendant. This part rarely, if ever, touches the ear, and therefore should not cause irritation.
